Hayley orrantia was born and raised in America. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a songwriter and singer. Her most well-known characters is Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," an American comedy show. However, she's primarily a music lover. She says that music has always been her first obsession. By the time she reached age 12, she had taken music seriously enough to begin professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was only 14 when she released her first collection of cover songs. Since then she's not been back. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic roots. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never visited Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic heritage. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and learning the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was picked by a panel of YouTube videos and received an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle in the live audition stage. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was put along with three female vocalists in a trio for remaining auditions. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
