Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. In the same calendar year she released her first music album called This is Tina Time. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
